Texturing with selections

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how we add materials to MoText objects using selections. What is a selection? A selection is a defined area of the geometry that can be stored in a tag for later use. So what we can do is click on to a MoText object and find the selections tab. And we have these polygons selections here. The shell, the start cap, the end caps, start bevel, and end bevel. We also have a letter and in some cases a letter and a number next to them. These letters and number combinations are what you would have to remember traditionally when working with these selections. But now you can simply turn on the selection tags and we have one for this shell. And you can see we can just drag these in to our material field. Let me show you how it works.
