Timeline functions

- Timeline functions later repeat animation that is present in the timeline. Let's look at an example, of a ball bouncing down a flight of stairs. I've set up this animation by creating keyframes and then finessed the interpolation to make the ball appear to bounce using FCurves. If you haven't watched the previous movie, you can learn about this process there. We want to repeat this ball bounce, but we don't want to do it by hand, and that's where timeline functions come into play. I'm going to press Shift + f3, and that's the keyboard shortcut for bringing up the timeline, we can see that we've got two properties here for the position X and Y. Let's look in the FCurves to see what we've got. Just by clicking here, to frame or, there's our X position and here's our Y position. I'm going to take them one by one and what we'll do is we can come in with the X, let's just frame this up. GS functions, and we can look at the track…
