- In order to visualize our spiraling particles a little better, it would be nice to have some trails coming off the back in them. The XP trails object is a great object to use in this situation. Let's go and jump in and see how we can use it. First of all I'm going to go in and disable my initial emitter just so we can see what we're doing a little nicer. So now we have our secondary particles coming out and spiraling around the scene. All I need to do in order to get trails coming off those is come over to the generators object, go to choose generator, and select the XP trail object. Within XP trail, I just grab the emit.spiral emitter into the emitter section. And then if we go and play back, now we have trails. Looks great. We can modify the look of this a little bit by just adjusting some of these settings. The first thing I want to do is turn off full scene length. I don't like that it's using up so much of our scene…
