- [Hassenfratz] Hello and welcome to another Cinema 4D Weekly. In this video, I'm going to show you how you can easily control and trigger cloth dynamics using fields in vertex maps. All right, so here we are in Cinema 4D, let's go ahead and create that cube in that little animation example that you just saw. So, I'm just going to add a cube and the key for cloth dynamics is we need a lot of subdivisions for nice, smooth wrinkles. So, for our cube, let's go into the object tab and let's go ahead and up the segments. So, it can maybe do like 10, 10 and 10 in the X, Y, and Z. And you're actually seeing the subdivisions here. So, what I'm going to do is go to display garage shading lines. You can see that, okay, we got some good subdivisions there, maybe up that to maybe 15, 15 and 15, so we've got a decent amount of subdivision.
