Understanding the hierarchy

- [Instructor] Cinema 4D is dependent on the relationships between objects in order for it to function. This is a core concept that we've been discussing throughout these Cinema 4D R18 courses, and it's really the key to understanding how C4D operates. So we've got this scene here and I've just rendered it, so if yours doesn't look exactly like mine when you open it, all I did was hit Command + R, and just to visualize the scene a bit more, so it looks a bit prettier, but what we're really focused on is the levels of hierarchy in Cinema 4D, and there are three primary levels of hierarchy. The parent at the top level, the child, which is underneath the parent, and peers, which are objects at the same level of hierarchy.
