User Data nodes

- [Instructor] Redshift features several utility nodes for accessing different types of user data. Understanding how and when to use each one will allow you to control your materials and shaders in interesting new ways. Let's dive in and take a look at each of these powerful nodes to get a better understanding. We're just going to briefly touch over the three different utility nodes that we'll be using. We can find those down in the Redshift shader graph. Just go and expand this window so we can see it a little bit better, and on the left hand side we have the nodes column. I'm just going to go to Utilities, User Data, and I'm going to go and drag in Color User Data, Integer User Data, and Scalar User Data. So the Color User Data node is exactly what it says.
