Using Weight to mix modifier strength

- [Instructor] We can use the weight modifier to achieve a fine level of control over the strength of the modifiers in our setup. Let's take a look at this example. In this scene, the gravity and turbulence modifiers are fighting over who has the influence on the particles. Gravity is winning this battle, sorry turbulence. Let's add a weight modifier from the control modifiers and let's just do that now. It has to be, come over to our modifiers list, and the control modifiers, right at the bottom, we've got weight. It has to be at the top of the stack for it to work. This is because of the order of operations. It's going to look down at what it's affecting. We'll come over to the object tab and we can just add modifiers, so we can drag in the turbulence and we can add another one. We can drag in the gravity. Now, what we have here is kind of like a mixing desk where you can dial in the weight of the influence of each modifier. Now we can't go below 100, we certainly can crank it up…
