Using different types of shadow

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at shadows and the different kinds of shadows we can have on lights. I'm going to enable the interactive render region, it's alt-R on the keyboard and then we'll be able to see our shadows being rendered. Let's come over to the light and select it. And in the attributes manager we can just give ourselves a bit of room here and we can come down to where it says shadows and enable shadows in this way, using this drop-down list, or we can come over to the shadow tab and do the same, it's the same interface. So we'll enable soft shadows, and we can then look at the attributes of the soft shadows. In the viewport you'll be able to see the shadow cast and the shadow map is essentially an image. Now, the edges of this soften out a bit and you can change the quality of the shadow by increasing the resolution. If we increase the resolution you'll see that these edges kind of clean up a bit, but we also increase the memory usage quite significantly. So that's…
