Volumetric lighting

- [Instructor] In this scene we're going to use volumetric lighting to create atmospheric effects. You make a light volumetric by working with the visible light property on the light, in the general tab. So we're going to change this to volumetric. And what I like to do is actually turn that off. I'm going to turn on the interactive render region because this effect won't show up in the viewport. So then we'll turn on volumetric for this light. And now you can see that we're casting that atmospheric looking light. And on the second one here, that we have nested, I'm just going to change this to visible light. And this will just give us a little boost there. The visible light parameter is only available on spot and omni lights. Let's come out to the camera and come around a bit and you can really see what's happening there with that volumetric light.
