What is Cineware?

- [Instructor] Cineware is a plugin that is bundled with Adobe After Effects. The main idea behind Cineware is that you can import your scenes made in Cinema 4D into After Effects without rendering from C4D beforehand, which sounds amazing. There are some pros and cons, and let's take a look. So we've got a Cinema 4D file in our project here, and all we can do is drag it onto a new composition, a layer is created, and it has the Cineware effect on it. I'm just going to zoom in, and I'll change the renderer to OpenGL. For OpenGL previews, Cineware is pretty useful. We can see this playing back quite nicely in view port, and takes are supported as well, so we could choose a particular shot that we're interested in, and if we just render that through, we can see, we can start to build up a picture of our edit and then we can decide which frames we want to use for our final, and then go back to Cinema 4D and render those at full res.
