What are Field Forces?

- [Instructor] Field forces can affect objects that are controlled by dynamics and any object that has a forces tab. You'll find the field force object by coming over to the simulate menu here. In forces, or just one to the scene. You get all your work done in the object tab by adding fields. So we'll add a solid field. And you can see that what we get is a box full of vectors. The display settings will enable you to visualize the vectors. Let's increase the line density. With it set to a box like this, it's quite difficult to see what's going on. Even if we just zoom in a bit more. When I work with field forces, I like to zero out one of the axes, so that I'm just looking at a two-dimensional plane. And this looks a lot clearer to me. Can zoom in a little bit closer and just take a look at what's going on with these vectors. If we come back into the object tab, and a solid field is a good way of visualizing vectors…
