What are splines?
- [Instructor] Let's take a look at the fundamentals of working with splines. We can create splines by coming up to this icon here, clicking and holding and you can choose either, the spline pen or some of these other tools, or just start with a primitive spline. So, something like the circle, we can add that to our scene, and just like the primitive objects, we can adjust the parameters and properties of this to create different shapes, and we can change these values as many times as we like. If you're drawing out the spline, I wouldn't suggest doing it in the perspective view because upon completing this one, can see if I just rotate the view, well, what we thought was flat is actually not, it's actually on an angle, based on the perspective of the camera. And so, what I would suggest you do, is just go into the front or top view or one of the other orthographic views, and then you can more accurately create a spline…
