From the course: Learning Cinema 4D S22

What you should know

- [Instructor] You may have heard that Cinema 4D is easy to use and learn. And when you compare it to other 3D software, it is. That doesn't make it any less powerful or complex. Cinema 4D is kind of like an onion. There are many, many layers to peel back and explore. But it's important to remember that you do not need to know what every button does in order to begin creating. I hope that by the end of this course, you'll see Cinema 4D as one of the more approachable programs for being creative in 3D. Even if you are a complete beginner, the goal for this course is to simply scratch the surface and allow you to just become comfortable with working with the software. We'll do that starting in the next chapter, where we explore some core concepts for working with Cinema 4D and some fundamentals that you can apply to pretty much any 3D package. So what do you need to know? For now, all you need to know is that we're going on a journey and by the end of it, you're going to come out of the other side with a piece of 3D artwork you can share with the world.
