Which renderer should I use?

- [Instructor] When it comes to getting your work out of CINEMA 4D, you will need to render it out using a render engine, but therein lies the question, which renderer should I use? This is a very good question, and in some situations, the Standard renderer will be just fine. In others, it will be faster to use the Physical renderer. It would remiss of me to tell you to use a specific renderer because that decision is just going to be entirely scene dependent. You'll need to experiment, and other factors, such as how your scene has been built and types of materials you are using will also come into play. Unfortunately, there's no single answer to this question, but we'll finish the chapter looking at the differences between the Standard and Physical renderers, which will hopefully inform your decision-making process when you come to answering this question next time you're creating a render.
