- [Instructor] The power of Cinema 4D's type tools comes from the 3D GUI because it allows for precise manipulation of individual letters to set type exactly as intended. In this scene, I have a MoText object here, and we have a phrase that should be familiar to anybody who's worked with fonts before, "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." Why do we have this? It's because it uses every letter of the "English alphabet. And so, it's a good way of just seeing the relationships between the letters. I'm using a font, Avenue, and if you don't have this font on your system, don't worry, it does not matter. You can use any font for this exercise, just be wary of free fonts that you download from the internet because sometimes they haven't been designed correctly and you may end up doing a lot more work to get them to look right.
