If you are unfamiliar with how materials and lights work in C4D, then I'd advise you to watch that first, and then, come back here. I have provided a scene file that you can practice with using the methods taught in the Learning Cinema 4D course, and I've also provided an end state for this file if you want to take a look at my approach. Alternatively, you can hold off for a moment and watch the other movies in this chapter, and then, put those principles into practice when you come to light and apply materials to this scene.
