(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Now that you have a little bit of background about how calc works, let's apply it to a real-world problem. And one of those real-world problems happens to be this concept of a type scale. This website is type-scale.com. And the concept of a type scale is something that comes from the print world, is now carried over to the web world. What we have going on here is a harmonious shift in the sizes of our type here from sort of a readable size that we might use in just standard text reading on a page, all the way on up here to some larger sizes that maybe might be used as headings or something on our webpage. And what this website will do for us is we set our base font size. 16 pixels is generally the base, which is what your browser will use, and that's considered to be 1m.
