- [Instructor] In addition to fonts there are related text properties that let you control things like the color, opacity, alignment and more. So let's take a look at those. Now, there is a lot of colors in Tailwind and you can see them all right here. The way that you apply them is by applying in the case of text, the keyword text, and then the name of the color. So this could be like text white or text black. And in case you're using one of these name colors you can use the text and then the name of the color and then you use a number from 50 to 900. Usually 500 is in the middle however, for yellow, I think actually 300 looks more like a normal yellow, 500 looks a little bit orangy to me but for the rest of the colors, you can see that 500 is about the normal sort of version of the color.
