Why animations?

- [Christina] The human brain is hardwired to pay attention to moving objects. As developers, we can use animation to draw a user's attention, tell a story, or help them navigate a site. I'm going to show you when you should and shouldn't use animations. We will look at where they are the most useful on a website and how to implement them following best practices. I'm Christina Gorton, a web developer, technical writer, and instructor. As a developer, I focus on creating fun and user-friendly animations for the web. I've taught thousands of students how to create animations with CSS and JavaScript. I'm bringing you this course from Costa Rica, so you may hear sounds of the rainforest. If you're ready to create a delightful user experience with the power of CSS, then join me in my LinkedIn learning course on CSS: Enhancing Interfaces with Animation.
