- Sooner or later, you're going to hit the wall on something, and, if you remember Murphy's law, Murphy's law is, essentially, if anything can go wrong, it will. Well, there's a new Murphy's law, Murphy's Second law is simply, Murphy was an optimist. So, sooner or later, something is going to go wrong in your business, and when things don't go as planned, you need to learn to just roll with it. You don't need to go crazy, you just need to be able to kick back, look at what the plan was, look at why it didn't work, and then start to think through how you're going to fix it. Most important of all, get out of the drama. When you hit that crisis, just breathe. This is one of my most favorite quotes, and it gets credited to somebody out there, we have no idea who said it. Breathe - It's not a bad life. It's just a bad day! Don't go off the deep end because a promotion didn't work, or because you've got a furious client because something, you didn't do something, or you forgot something…
