Changing shutter speed

- For this next shot, I wanna adjust the shutter speed on my camera, so I put the camera into shutter priority mode, which means that I can set the shutter speed and the camera will automatically choose the aperture and the ISO to go along with it. So why might I want to change the shutter speed on a shot like this of my friend Holly here? Well as you may have seen here, the wind is blowing hard. So if I choose a very high shutter speed, we're gonna freeze her hair that's blowing around in the wind. If I choose a slow shutter speed, we're gonna get some blurry hair blowing in the wind, and that might be kind of a cool effect. So we'll shoot both shots, and then you can decide which one you like better. Now we are shooting in high sun here, so the shadows on her face aren't really nice. So what I've done is asked my friend Britney to come in with a diffusion panel, a very nice little pop out diffusion panel. Go ahead and pop that guy out.
