- Hey, what a fun house this was. I actually had a really good time shooting it and, you know, this is a very typical house. This house exists all over the world. You're guaranteed to encounter these same sorts of challenges in your own work on a regular basis. That said, houses come in an incredible, almost infinite, variety of challenges. And you're going to find some places that are crazy hard to shoot. What you're going to do in those situations is break them down into bite size pieces. When you're confronted with that combination of really challenging rooms, try not to look at the entire picture at once, but focus on just the foreground. And find the thing that you've done in the past that worked for that same situation in that tiny little area and do it. Then you work on the far corner. Then you work on the other side of the room. Then you work on the adjoining space. Maybe there's five, six components to that photograph, but each one of them is something that you've done…
