All right, so how is it that we can find the perfect portrait lens. The one that is just the right fit for who we are. Well, a while back I was photographing this famous calligraphy artist and I asked her about her pen, I said is there a story behind it? And she said oh, yeah, there is. You know, I was studying under so and so, and at the end of my time with him and working on my calligraphy he said I want to present you with a parting gift, and it was a box. And he said inside of this box are a number of different pens that I think would work well for you. What I want you to do is to open up the box and close your eyes and reach in and find the pen. That is just the right fit. So she did that. She closed her eyes, and she reached in. And she found the pen that she uses to this day.
