In this chapter, we're going to continue our pursuit for finding the perfect portrait lens. And you will have a conversation about some of the lenses that you might want to consider to use or maybe even buy. And in this movie, I want to cover the basics. One of the first things that we need to think about is our own setup. In other words, we need to get familiar with our format or our sensor size and also what's called the lens mouth. In other words, if you buy a Canon lens that won't work on an Nikon or a Sony or a Fuji camera. So we want to get familiar with what we have and there also are specific lens built for different sensor sizes. Then next we want to think about some of the characteristics of the lens. For example, one characteristic which we haven't mentioned yet is called image stabilization or vibration reduction. Different brands will call it different things.
