In this segment, we're going to talk about depth of field, and distance from the subject. We'll be capturing some portraits. And I'm going to start off by moving way back, probably about 40 feet from the subject. Then I'll progressively move forward and capture images along the way, so that we can compare and contrast the way that the depth of field will change as we change our distance to the subject. Now, I'll keep my focal length and my aperture setting the same throughout. All right, so here I'm going to step back. I'll go ahead and step back probably about 40 feet from the subject. Kelly, you look great over there. I'll go ahead and compose the first frame, then I'll move closer. Here I'll split the difference, maybe about 20 feet at this point. Capture another photograph. Pay attention to the depth of field as we get closer. I'm going to get even closer. Maybe two or three more photographs here. Capture this frame.
