The next topic that I want to talk about is how we can capture a shallow depth of field. And here, I want to review some of the things we've already discussed, draw a couple of conclusions, and give you a few exercises, which will help to make this more concrete and more relatable to the portraits that you capture. All right, well as we discussed, there are four influencing factors which will help us create an even shallower depth of field. Let's review those. First we have our sensor size. Now we can't change the sensor size. It is what it is. But the larger sensor size that we have, the shallower the depth of field. Next we have our f-stop or aperture setting. The lower the f number, or the lower the f-stop f28 will allow us to have shallower depth of field than 56 or f22. Then we have a focal length.
