Shooting with Lensbaby lenses

- Lensbaby is an American lens manufacturer, based in Portland, Oregon, and they started by bringing back a bellows type lens system. The original Lensbaby lenses were lenses that you could push and contract, and really expand the bellows of the lens, but Lensbaby's system has continued to evolve. They're a bit known for their softer focus, creative depth of field effects, even creative apertures. They have different apertures that you can make, or buy to drop in. So, for example, with this lens system here, it expands upon the idea of a bellows lens, but rather than having to push that into place, we can turn these dials, and sort of compress the lens, and so, it's bending the lens, much like a tilt shift, and this is gonna create compression, forcing one side to be in focus, while emphasizing the out of focus area on the other side, and then, we can actually reach right in there, and take out an aperture ring, like you see here, and there's different sizes.
