- Now, we want to take a look at some specialized lenses. First up, we're gonna talk about fisheye lenses, we got a couple of them here, and these are extreme wide angle lenses, so wide that you start to see distortion. If you've ever used a GoPro camera, and you shoot it on wide, or the super-wide type view that they have there, well that's kind of getting into the realm of fisheye. Jim, this is a highly specialized look. What are some scenarios where you might use this in the world of video? - Well, usually you associate it with a wide shot, you're trying to see a large area, and you're also trying to apply effect to it. I mean, it tends to make areas look much bigger than they really are. So, if you're trying to distort how big a space is, make it seem bigger, you know, when I'm trying to rent my apartment out to renters, I'll use a really wide lens, or fisheye to make it seem like it's a castle, but it's not really, because it's distorting reality that way. - Now, we've attached a…
