Where are they and what's important to them?

- So let's start thinking about where your target audience is. First of all, if you're staying focused on the Portrait/Social category, for the most part, you audience is local. They're in the neighborhoods, that's where you're going to be pounding the pavement, owning your zip code, and that's primarily your target audience. But there's a huge global world out there and the internet has made the world a much smaller place and it's allowed you to have a level of reach that, going back maybe as little as 10 years ago, only a magazine had. And now you've got it as a professional photographer going out and being active in social media and the internet, you've got the reach, literally, that goes around the world to anybody that's internet active. I want to share just two pieces of statistics with you about internet-use households. If you look at the global world, from 1995 to today, we've gone from 1% internet active to 40%.
