- We're going to look at adding additional media to help tell your story. The pros call this B-roll. Think of a news story. We've got the reporter in the field talking about the burning building. Then they cut to a shot of the fire. Then the fireman battling the blaze. Maybe a soundbite from the neighbor who called in the fire. That's the kind of stuff that makes the story interesting, right? Now, my story here may not be as riveting as a towering inferno, but I can still add interest with my own B-roll. In this case, I have a few screen captures I created that go along with my talking head video clip. Okay, I've marked some sections here that could use a little help.
