- Even if I'm just creating a quick shoot and share for a coworker, it can probably benefit from a bit of editing to trim off anything that's not adding to my story. You don't need to master editing to take advantage of this magical power. I'm going to show you the basic tools that can help add a couple of stars to your performance, whether it's a live-action video, a screen capture, or even a voiceover. Most videos I create have some sort of backbone storyline, an interview, a voiceover, maybe a tutorial. And that's where I usually start. In this case, it's me giving a quick overview of the course. I'm going to go ahead and drag these two clips to my timeline. I'm going to just select both, drag them down here to the timeline.
