- [Narrator] The basic screen casting workflow that we just stepped through in the last few movies. Of recording your computer screen and microphone, editing in Camtasia, and sharing to a cloud service such as Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, or Screencast.com, is the foundation of all workflows for Camtasia Now let's take a minute and look at some of the common variations on this theme from a high-level view. Now the first variation is simply adding a webcam into the mix, now when you do this your microphone audio is joined to the webcam track in Camtasia editor, and the screen recording is separated into it's own clips and stacked on separate tracks. This way the audio for your mic and webcam remain in sync with each other, and this also means that since the webcam and computer screen are on separate tracks, you're free to edit them separately to better tell your story. Now likewise if you choose to record your computer audio then that audio track will be combined with your computer…
