Choosing what you want to record
- With Camtasia, you can record your screen, your webcam, your microphone, and your system audio, that's the sounds coming from your computer. You can capture all of these at once, anyone on its own or a combination of the four. So what I'm going to do here is open up Camtasia Recorder, and I'm going to walk from left to right and show you all the options. First thing I want to do is enable my screen capture. And from the drop down here, I can choose what I want to capture. 90% of the time I choose full screen, it gives me the best resolution and the most editing options. But it's good to know these others are here just in case you need to create media for a specific device or a platform. Okay. The next option here is my webcam. I'm going to enable this. And then here from the dropdown, I can choose which webcam I want to use. I have an external one and then my built-in one. For this video, I'm going to use my external…
