Creating animated GIFs

- [Instructor] Animated GIFs are microlearning micro movies. It's technically an image format that has multiple images contained within a single file and they're displayed one after another, just like individual frames of a movie. Now animated GIFs are basically the ultimate in microlearning image types, because they can be used to teach a learner some simple action far faster than even speaking the words to describe it. For instance, to answer the question of how do you change the background color of the canvas in this application can be demonstrated in just a few frames. Animated GIFs can also be set to infinitely loop through the animation. So as soon as the instruction completes, it begins reinforcing the information over and over again. Now creating animated GIFs is also really straightforward and most every video editing program out there can export a clip in this format, just look under the Export or Share menus for an animated GIF option.
