Creating a stand-alone video

- [Instructor] There are times when I don't want to post my video online. I want to create a standalone video file that I can use in a presentation or backup to a storage device. Let's take a look at the process for creating a video file that can be viewed on most devices. I'm going to click the Share button and then choose Local File. From the dropdown, I'm going to choose MP4 only, up to 1080p. MP4 is a type of video file, and the 1080p means that I'm saving a full HD movie. I'm going to click Next and then name my video. I can choose where I want my video to be stored. Camtasia has created a default folder in my Documents, so I'm just going to put it there. The next three options are, well, optional. They're checked by default. You can leave them checked or uncheck them. Whatever you so desire. And then you can click Finish. Camtasia is going to render my project into a standalone video file.
