- [Instructor] To wrap up these tips, always begin and end by thinking about your viewer's experience of watching your content and go that extra mile to do whatever you can to improve their experience. Our really simple way to make your screencast easier to watch is set your monitor to a lower resolution during the recording. Just simply right click on your desktop and select the display settings. Then, in the resolution dropdown, consider setting your resolution down to at least 1920 by 1080, but 1280 by 720 would be even better. Now, it will be a little bit of a challenge for you to work in some apps at such a low resolution, but think about the person who is giving you their time to watch your content. More than likely they'll be doing so on a mobile device or inside of a browser window. In other words, on a really small screen.
