- [Instructor] We all make mistakes, but by following a few simple rules during recording, we can make it relatively easy to fix those mistakes, and end up with a professional looking and sounding screen cast. Now before starting to record, make sure that you have a clean starting state for your document, now that way, if you do need to start over, you can quickly and easily get back to the starting state for your project file, just copy the document, then open up an out of the way folder that's not going to be visible during your recording and paste in that copy, then if something does go wrong during your recording, and you need to start over, you can simply take that original document and throw it away and then go to your backup folder, copy it, and paste a new clean copy, you're back up and running.
