- [Instructor] If you deploy your microlearning assets via a learning management system, or LMS, then there is likely a learner analytics engine that is already built into the system that you can take advantage of to help you asses both formal learner assessment and test the effectiveness of specific microlearning assets. Now, by doing nothing more than posting your content on your course page, you'll generally get some crude analytics data that shows how many times a learner logged in, clicked on some piece of content, and so forth. And this is similar to the device profile data of a web analytics engine, but it's more specific to the user, due to the nature of the closed LMS. And it gives you a measure of relative level of engagement for each learner within the LMS for each piece of content that they're viewing. You can then design your course to take advantage of this by combining the basic use data collected by the LMS with specific quantitative and qualitative assessment data…
