- [Instructor] When you create your MicroLearning media assets, you'll likely need to create some audio recordings so your learners can hear your voice. Remember, we're creating targeted learning assets, and a great way to do that is to add your voice speaking directly to your learner. To make your audio recordings, you're going to need a microphone, headphones, and an app to record into, and most importantly a quiet place to record. For the microphone and headphones, if you're going to be recording on a desktop or a laptop, then get a good quality USB headset mic. You can usually find these online for around $30. If you're going to use your smart phone, then use the headset that came with your phone. It'll generally do a pretty good job. For software, if you're making a screen recording, then use your screen recorder app. Camtasia and ScreenFlow are two of the most popular.
