Setting your project's dimensions

- [Instructor] Often when I create a video, it needs to be exported to specific dimensions. You've probably heard terms like HD or 4K. Well, these are the project or video dimensions. It's best to set this before you begin creating. To do that, all I do is right-click here in the canvas, choose project settings, and here from the dropdown, I've got lots of choices. Now, the default is 1920 by 1080, that's HD, which is what I use for the vast majority of my projects. So unless you have a reason for changing this, you can probably just leave it as is, and even skip the rest of this video. Now, if you need another dimension, let's say I need a 4K video for a client or something. All I do is choose that here from the dropdown, click apply, let me resize that, and now I have a 4K project. It's really that simple.
