Sharing your video the easy way

- [Instructor] Whether you have a complicated project you've spent weeks creating, or just a 60-second screen cap you've created for a coworker, the steps for sharing your video are the same, and Camtasia makes it about as easy as can be. Okay here in my final project, I'm going to go up here and choose the giant green Share button. Now I've got some options. I'm going to show you the YouTube method, but if you want to use some of these other video host choices, the steps are basically the same. I'm going to scroll down here and choose YouTube. Now the first time I do this, I'll need to sign in to my YouTube account. So I'm going to click Sign In, walk through the prompts. Yes, I'm going to allow Camtasia to access my account, and I'm signed in. Now here, I can enter my title, tags, description, privacy settings, all that kind of stuff. Keep in mind once this is uploaded, I can still change these online, they are not set in stone. So if you're not sure about what to do, for now just add a title, which is what I'm going to do. Now if you want to learn more about tags, titles, and descriptions, there are of course courses here in the Learning Library. Okay once I'm happy with that, I'm going to go ahead and click Share. Camtasia exports and uploads my video in one fell swoop. How long this takes of course will depend on the length and complexity of my video as well as my computing power. When it's finished, I have everything I need right in front of me. I can visit my video on YouTube, copy and paste the URL for sharing, or even grab the embed code and embed the video on a website. Camtasia makes exporting and sharing a video about as easy as it could possibly be.
