- [Instructor] At one point or another, you're going to need to record a PowerPoint presentation and TechSmith has made this super easy for you by creating a custom PowerPoint add-in that was automatically installed when you initially installed Camtasia. Now let me show you how it works. Now the first time you open up a PowerPoint presentation after installing Camtasia, you should see this popup window letting you know that the add-in was installed and there's a simple getting started presentation that you can click through on your own if you'd like to. I'm going to go ahead and click okay here. Now when you have your own slide deck open, you'll need to go over to the add-ins tab on the ribbon and here you'll find the Camtasia add-in options. You have a button to start recording, one to enable your microphone, a button to record your camera.
