Configuring viewfinder options

- As photographers, of course, we spend a fair amount of time looking through the viewfinder into the lens to see the subject that we're photographing. There is some basic information typically presented there such as exposure information or exposure metering. But for many camera settings, we then need to back away from the viewfinder and look on the top display or on the back LCD display. But with the Canon 5D Mark IV, there are actually some additional options that we can present within the viewfinder display. So I'm going to press the menu button to activate the menu and then go into my viewfinder display options. And first, we have an option for the electronic level. So we do have an electronic, a digital level that can be displayed on the LCD on the back of the camera. But now we can also see a leveling display right through the viewfinder. So I'll change that default option from Hide to Show so that I can display that leveling display. And now, sure enough, whenever I have the…
