Adding 360-degree images and videos

- [Instructor] A 360 degree image is designed to be rendered as a 360 degree sphere, with the learner looking from the absolute center of the sphere. If you take a look at a 360 degree image outside Captivate, it appears distorted with curved edges on top and bottom. Let's take a look at one such image. Go to the Exercise Files folder, Chapter Two folder, and then open the Assets folder. Here, double-click Kitchen_360BG.jpg file. Notice how the image is distorted and has curved edges on top and bottom. Now close this image and go back to the Captivate project. In this project, click add 360 image video button, then navigate to the Exercise Files folder, Chapter Two folder, Assets folder, and then select the same Kitchen_360BG image that we just viewed outside Captivate and click open. The image is now added as a slide background. Notice that the distortion and curved edges that were visible when viewing the image from outside Captivate are gone.
