- [Instructor] When searching through a long list of available advanced actions, you may want to clean out unused ones, but how do you know which ones are safe to trash? There's a tool that can tell you if an action is used or not. Go to the project menu, then advanced actions. Open the existing actions dropdown, and select an action you think might be able to be deleted. At the bottom of the window, click the usage button. For this action, Captivate displays a message stating, item is not currently in use; click OK. You can then feel confident about deleting the advanced action. Open the existing actions dropdown again, and select another action. (silence) This time, when we click usage, Captivate tells us that this action is used as the success action for a smart shape on slide 28. You can continue on looking through the actions one by one and checking the usage. It is a bit tedious to check them one by one.…
