Conditional actions to control object visibility

- [Instructor] "Mom, can I play video games?" "Well, if you've done your homework, then you can play, else, you need to complete your homework first." Well, that's an if-then-else statement or a conditional. Conditional actions in Captivate allow you to control a project's behavior based on either choices the user has made or conditions that exist. So let's build out some slides that utilize user variables and conditional actions which allow the user to pick an avatar for use in a scenario. So in our example here, the user will pick their character on slide one and then that character will display on slide two. So the first thing we need to do is create a user variable to keep track of which character the user has chosen. So to do this, I'm going to go to the project menu and then choose Variables.
