- [Instructor] Here's one way to create reusable formatting styles. In this example, there are three title elements. As each one is clicked, notice in the properties panel, they're all using default caption style. Let's change the first title to use bold text, 28 point font, and a darker gray. There's now a plus sign next to the words default caption style, which indicates a change has been made to the style definition. Click the dropdown next to style name. Choose save changes to existing style. The plus sign has disappeared, since this is now the style definition. All of the titles now look the same. So do the other pieces of text, because they also use default caption style. To create a style for those text pieces, select the first one and change the size to 20. Click the dropdown next to style name. Choose create new style. In the resulting window, give this new style the name of body text, and click OK. Select…
