Duplicating objects and slides

- [Instructor] When you need to duplicate an object or a slide in Captivate, you could copy and paste. To do it faster, you could use these two quick methods. The first is to select the object you want to copy and hold down the Control key for Windows or Command for Mac. Then click, drag, and release the mouse. This makes it easy to roughly place objects where you want as you duplicate. The second method is to select the object you wish to copy, then simply press Control + D on Windows or Command + D on Mac. For both methods, notice in the timeline that the point in time the duplicated objects appear and the length of time they appear for are the same as the original object. You can also use this to duplicate slides in the filmstrip. Select the slide you want to duplicate and then press Control + D on Windows or Command + D on Mac. So, now you've seen how to quickly duplicate objects and slides.
