Updating images in situ (in place)

- [Instructor] When making updates to an image outside Captivate, it can be a hassle to reimport it into your project. Here's how to update images in-situ. This example file uses an image of a coastline. Hovering over it displays a tool tip showing the image dimensions are 500 by 306. Say that the image dimensions need to be reduced as well as include some text as part of the image. Here's the original image that's had the changes made to it and saved with the same name in the original location. Back in Captivate, select the image in the library. You could also right click the image on the slide and choose Find in the Library. Right click the image in the library and choose Update. The resulting window displays the name and location of the image. Click Update. A notification displays noting that all items have been successfully updated. Click Okay.
