- Layers in Capture One Pro are helpful for massaging our image, better telling the story that we saw when we took the picture. And I have an example here, and I'll just walk you through it and show you how to create layers to make your picture a little bit more like the story you want to tell. So here we have this field of mustard and what I saw when I took the shot and I held the camera up over my head and lined it up on the LCD, all that, but really what I wanted to do was take this row here and have that be the center subject, where the eyes go first and then have everything else kind of just supportive.
